Museo Italiano and Lygon St Excursion

Last Friday, Year 12 students as part of their (Italian) immigration unit attended a workshop at Museo Italiano in Carlton. We attended lunch at a staple of Lygon Street - Universal restaurant - before the boys embarked on a series of activities to complete throughout the day. They were encouraged to explore Lygon St, comparing its past to its present and reflecting on the experience of the Italian immigrants who made a new start in Melbourne.
