Feast Day of St Bernard

Last Friday, our College community gathered in prayer to celebrate the feast day of St Bernard of Clairvaux. Our traditional Mass reminded us of Bernard’s legacy of faith, peace and wisdom, a legacy that continues to inspire us.

This special day brought together different generations of St Bernard’s students, as we were blessed to welcome back old collegians Fr Bernie Lane, Fr Joe Giaccobe and Fr Ray Scanlon to celebrate Mass.

It was also lovely to see some familiar faces return to the College as part of our Golden Years reunion. The group joined us for Mass before enjoying a buffet lunch and a tour of the grounds led by our Principal, Dr Michael Davies. It was great to see these old collegians reminisce over old memories and marvel at the changes to our campus.

Thank you to everyone involved in organizing this celebration, especially our celebrants, speakers, and talented musicians—you ensured that we marked this significant occasion with pride and reverence.
