2026 ACC Open Debating and Public Speaking Competition

Congratulations to the students who represented St Bernard's at the ACC Open Debating and Public Speaking Competition on 7 May 2026, hosted by St Joseph’s College. Competing in the Open division were first-time debaters as well as more seasoned competitors. 

Across three rounds, the debating team demonstrated thoughtful argumentation, collaboration, and adaptability, finishing 3rd overall after two convincing wins. While our public speakers represented the College thoughtfully and professionally, they unfortunately did not make it onto the podium. 

Well done to our team of students who are not only representing the College with excellence, but also building a valuable lifelong skill!
