On Thursday 7 May, even on the morning of a late start, select students from the Year 7, 8, and 9 Able & Ambitious program represented the College at the Da Vinci Decathlon held at PEGS, competing against some of Melbourne’s leading academic schools.

The Da Vinci Decathlon is a challenging academic competition that requires students to work collaboratively across ten disciplines, including Mathematics, Engineering, Science, English, Code Breaking, Cartography, and Creative Producers. Throughout the day, students were required to think critically, solve complex problems, and apply creativity under pressure.

All students represented the College with enthusiasm, resilience, and teamwork throughout the competition.

We are especially pleased to share that the Year 8 team achieved equal third place in Mathematics alongside Melbourne Grammar.

Congratulations to all students involved on their outstanding efforts and the way they represented the College!
