Dr Michael Davies closes out what has been a challenging year with a final address in front of our beloved Christmas Tree!
Dear Parents and Friends of St Bernard’s,
Dear Parents and Friends of St Bernard’s,
As we commemorate 80 years of our College it is time to reflect to 1940.
On the 24th November 1940 foundation Principal Brother Kyran Cregan wrote in his annual report; "the boys in the Proficiency Class as well as those in the newly erected College are a splendid type, are very keen on their work and show that refinement and culture worthy of a great school and worthy of their splendid Catholic forebears".

Dear Parents and Friends of St Bernard’s,
Library News
The Junior and Senior Book Clubs had lunch together on Wednesday 02 December. We had a great time sharing lunch and laughs. The boys who attended today’s lunch are like minded students of all ages who enjoy coming together for meetings, special events and the community the Library has built up with the one tenant in common, the enjoyment of reading. It is a pleasure to plan sessions that are fun and inviting for the boys and gain a very insightful perspective of the shared books we are reading from both the students and library staff. The Junior and Senior Book Clubs are fun, accepting and positive groups who meet once a fortnight.
We are always open to new members, if your son would like to be part of this group feel free to contact me on Jgale@sbc.vic.edu.au
